Review by hotel critic
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Glenheath during a gourmet getaway, and I must say, it was quite an experience. Upon arrival, Diane offered a warm welcome that set the tone for our stay. She took the time to explain everything despite her busy schedule, showcasing the attentive service that I would come to appreciate. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the hearty cooked Yorkshire breakfast served in the cozy dining room. Picture this: a plate filled with quality grilled bacon, sausages, and beautifully crispy hash browns, alongside perfectly cooked tomatoes and mushrooms. The homemade aspect really shines through, and I found myself savoring each bite. A suggestion for the future would be to include yogurt alongside the cereals for those early morning munchies. Evenings were equally delightful with their home-cooked meals offered from 5:30 PM, which certainly made me feel like I was getting a taste of local hospitality. With parking close by and a tranquil location, I would happily recommend Glenheath for food enthusiasts seeking a comforting culinary escape.
